The mark consists of a stylized lion that is partially shaded at the top. To the left of the lion is a flag, within which is a short vertical line and a long horizontal line, which is attached to a flag pole with a pointed end. To the right of the lion is a flag within which is a cross and an "X" superimposed thereon. That flag is attached to a pole. Below the flags is a banner with the wording "PUSSER'S" therein. Below the banner is an oval with a rope border. Within the center of the oval is an anchor design on each side, separated by a flag pole with four flags. The interior of the top flag is partially shaded on the right side. The interior of the second flag contains a shaded horizontal stripe. The interior of the next flag down contains a shaded horizontal stripe, and the interior of the lowest flag contains a shaded vertical line in its center. At the bottom of the mark are two banners with a star in between them. The word "WEST" appears in the left banner, and the word "INDIES" appears in the right banner.
